The pen comes in many shapes and forms. BUT it is one of many designs in which sticks to a basic idea/form. Although many different shapes come out, it still originates around the same form. I think that designs, like the pen, is important because it portrays just how design works. You take one design, and then make it into your own but still the resemblance and function of the original is still there.
